Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 20, 2026
numootech (numootech.com) respects your privacy. This policy explains what data we may collect when you use the site, how we use and protect it, who it may be shared with, and what your rights are. The operator is an entity based in the Sultanate of Oman, and you can contact us at any time at [email protected].
1) Data we collect
We collect only what the service actually needs:
- Newsletter subscription: your email address and your preferred language when you subscribe so we can send you updates.
- Comments: the name you enter, your email (optional), and the text of your comment. To prevent abuse we store a hashed fingerprint of your IP address (not the plain address) and use a human-verification tool to fight spam.
- Account and sign-in: your email address and a short-lived one-time verification code sent to it. We keep a sign-in session in a secure (httpOnly) cookie to keep you logged in.
- Course progress: your progress is stored primarily in your browser (local storage); enrollments and certificates are linked to your account once you create one.
- Certificates: the name you choose and the course title, in order to issue the certificate and make it verifiable by its code.
- Purchases: when you buy a course or a paid product, the payment is processed through the Thawani gateway. We keep an order record (product, amount, status, and your account ID) only — we do not store your card details; those are handled directly by the payment gateway.
- Analytics data: we automatically collect non-personal data to improve the content: the page visited, the referral source, approximate country/city, device, browser and operating system type, and the access channel. This is aggregate data we do not use to identify you personally, and it is collected through our own in-house analytics system (we do not use Google Analytics).
2) How we use your data
- Running the service: displaying courses, issuing certificates, fulfilling purchases, and responding to your inquiries.
- Sending the newsletter and updates you subscribed to (you can unsubscribe at any time).
- Improving the content and the site experience through aggregate analytics.
- Protecting the site and preventing abuse and fraud.
- Displaying ads (see Section 4).
We do not sell your personal data to any party.
3) Cookies
We use cookies and local storage for essential purposes (session and security), functional purposes (remembering your language and progress), analytics, and advertising. For full details and how to control them, see the Cookie Policy.
4) Third-party advertising (Google AdSense)
We may display ads through Google AdSense. In accordance with Google's requirements:
- Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this site or other sites.
- Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to our users based on their visit to our site and/or other sites on the internet.
- You can opt out of personalized advertising from Google Ads settings (My Ad Center), or opt out of third-party vendors' use of cookies at aboutads.info and networkadvertising.org.
- For more details see Google's advertising policy.
Ads are disabled by default on the site. Before showing personalized ads to visitors from regions that require prior consent (such as the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom), we will enable an approved consent mechanism in line with the applicable requirements.
5) Service providers we rely on
We share the minimum amount of data with trusted providers solely to run the service, each with its own privacy policy:
- Cloudflare — hosting, delivery acceleration, abuse protection, and geolocation estimation. Its policy.
- Thawani — payment processing (Sultanate of Oman). Its website.
- Resend — sending emails (sign-in code and newsletter). Its policy.
- Google AdSense — advertising (see Section 4).
6) Data retention and protection
We retain data for as long as necessary for the purpose for which it was collected or as required by law, then delete it or make it anonymous. We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data, while acknowledging that no electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure.
7) Your rights
- Access, correct, or request deletion of your data.
- Unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time via the unsubscribe link or by contacting us.
- Control cookies through your browser and the ad opt-out links above.
To exercise any of your rights, email us at [email protected].
8) Links to external sites
The site may contain links to third-party websites and tools that we do not control. We are not responsible for their privacy practices, and we advise reviewing their policies.
9) Children's privacy
The site is not directed at children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data. The financial and investment content is also intended for adults.
10) Governing law and dispute resolution
This policy is governed by the laws of the Sultanate of Oman, and its courts have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from it. If you have a privacy-related complaint, please contact us first at [email protected] to resolve it amicably before any escalation.
11) Updates and your consent
We may update this policy from time to time, and the last-updated date will appear at the top of the page. Your continued use of the site after an update means you agree to the revised version.
